This blog focuses on the U.S. Occupy movement in the context of the current crisis. I am interested particularly in the movement’s intervention into, and potential impact upon, processes of social, political, and economic restructuring following from the crisis and political crisis management. I look at the Occupy movement therefore as a potential counter-hegemonic force within the current political conjuncture, observe its concrete interventions into present conflicts, and assess its efforts to develop an alternative trajectory beyond neoliberalism.
